Ship Breaking Unit

Ship Breaking Unit Beypore  (SBU-B) situated near Beypore Port, Calicut is sited on a leased land of 3.03 acres covering 100 m water frontage on the banks of Chaliyar River. The unit was engaged in Ship Breaking activities till2015 , which had to be discontinued due to objection from the Port Department and non renewal of lease agreement. The unit is having a workshop area of 1525 sq. to facilitate various types of fabrication activities. The unit undertakes Design and construction of Steel and FRP water borne vessels, Fabrication of Steel structures, gas crematorium accessories, Steel furniture’s, floating jetty etc., Repair of small boats, PMC services for various Civil and Electro mechanical projects.
