Project Engineering Division(PED) of SILK established in 1989 is engaged in Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Erection and Commissioning of small/mini/micro Hydel generating plants on turnkey basis. The division under- takes power generation on a "water to wire" basis. In other words the division takes the full responsibility of small/mini/micro hydel projects on a "concept to commissioning" basis. The division has executed a number of Hydel projects ranging from 10 KW to 3500 KW in Kerala and in various other states in India.

SILK will be most willing to be associated with turn-key execution of Small, Mini, and Micro hydel schemes on a time bound schedule, within India and abroad. This division also carries out civil construction part of small hydro stations as well as construction of multi-storied buildings, community halls, market stalls, Water Treatment Plants, sewage systems, canals, storage tanks, bridges, etc., Supply and Installation of High Mast and Mini Mast Lights, Supply and Installation of LED Street Lights, upply and Installation of CCTV Systems, Supply and Installation of Smart Class Rooms, Installation of Bus Waiting Shelters, Supply and Installation of Solar Mini Mast Lights, Setting up of Solar Power Plants, Supply and Installation of LPG Crematoriums.
