Project Engineering And Exports Division(PEED) of SILK established in 1989 is engaged in Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Erection and Commissioning of small/mini/micro Hydel generating plants on turnkey basis. The division under- takes power generation on a "water to wire" basis. In other words the division takes the full responsibility of small/mini/micro hydel projects on a "concept to commissioning" basis. The division has executed a number of Hydel projects ranging from 10 KW to 3500 KW in Kerala and in various other states in India.

SILK will be most willing to be associated with turn-key execution of Small, Mini, and Micro hydel schemes on a time bound schedule, within India and abroad. This division also carries out civil construction part of small hydro stations as well as construction of multi-storied buildings, community halls, market stalls, Water Treatment Plants, sewage systems, canals, storage tanks, bridges, etc.
